Status Updates From Star Wars: I, Jedi

I'm still slowly making progress. I've been writing more than reading, but dang this book is epic! Hoping to finish it this month.

Interesting first person perspective on the Jedi Academy books. Not great. Reading to finish with snippets of hope.

the first half of this book has an entirely different plot-line from the second half, but at least we killed that sith lord!

Right now at the chapters where Corran goes undercover and they’re pretty good chapters.

Had a couple issues with some aspects of this down the line but overall still enjoying the story and loving Corran

The only point I agree with on haters of this book is that it feels like it was post to be a duloagy or trilogy that they made into one book who only causes it to feel a bit bloated at points and that’s really it.

I know there’s a lot of people who hate Corran Horn and I understand why but the more I read the book they say shows these points the more I disagree with them and more agree with Corran Horn character as a whole. Yes he’s a perfect person at points but that’s the thing, he’s only perfect at the things he knows/learns. Additionally his reasons to leave the Luke’s order makes sense to his character.
