Status Updates From McSweeney's Issue 32

Story two: so tired of old McSweeney's. Lots of a very specific white dude literary writer type, the ones where you know in twenty more years they'll be writing old professors taking advantage of students, but where it'll always be like the young girl is the seducer. Wonder if newer McSweeney's is better at diversity

In a way it seems very interesting to be reading a book written 12 years ago about a future that's now only three years away.

But at the same time, what kind of bullshit white nonsense is this that they decided to send a bunch of writers off to 'exotic' places to write about their near future, rather than have people from that place write these stories!
