This is such an inspiring book! It warns both about the way society makes judgments about groups of people and isolates them, and the importance of sticking up for your friends, even when they seem to be a part of those groups of people. I love how through her conflicts with Brenda, Genevieve's resolve ultimately strengthens to the end.

So far I think it's cool cause there stuck in a storm at there homes but it's a really dangerous one. And there trying to communicate with a shortwave radio.

So far in the book Genevieve is starting high school without her best friend. Her best friend moved away over the summer so she has to start school without her. As the first day of school comes around so does hurricane carol. Hurricane carol puts off the start of school.
