Status Updates From Crow Mary

Read this book twice. I was disturbed by the assimilation of Crow Mary’s children in the end. I have a friend who is from the Oneida Nation and her great grandmother was sent to Carlisle to be assimilated. I also did not know a lot about the whiskey/ fur trade during the manifest destiny period of our country. Learned a lot.
