Status Updates From The Long Night of Leo and Bree

Bree goes to a town called Fenton and walks around while Leo drives around and spots Bree walking

Leo wants to get out of the house after his crazy mom pulls out pictures of his dead sister, and Bree left to go to a bar after a argument with her mom.

My protagonist stays the same because he's serious about deaths and suicides. There has been recent deaths and suicides in this book and Leo will get really serious about it and doesn't understand why these type of things happen.

The author provides visualization for the problem in the story which is quite disturbing but drawback to the problem. It makes it more helpful to understand more of what the author is saying or want us to picture

--after his daughter died. His goal is to find help.

I can infer that the main character Leo is going through a stage of depression because 4 years from tonight (March 19) his sister died. His actions are of him cutting himself and bring suicidal because it's a tough time for him to go through. His character traits are negative because he's not confident in himself and can't find himself help because one, his sister is dead, and two, his dad left his family after the

Leo brings Bree to the diner, and let's her go. She went into the diner and ordered food. She has decided that she isn't going to tell anybody about Leo, because she doesn't want to get him in trouble. At the library, she found the story of Leo's murdered sister, which happened 4 years ago from today.

Bree and Leo go into Leo's house to get the pictures. When they go in to take them, his mom is sleeping in the dining room on a chair. She is drunk. Leo and Bree get the pictures, and burn them. "I want to burn them. So nobody else will ever see them either." Leo said on page 104.

Bree wakes Leo up, while he was dreaming about his mother, back to when she was normal. When he wakes up, he's surprised she's still there. "Why didn't you run away, for God's sake!" He says on page 95. He says he will bring her to the diner when it's light out, to let her go.

Leo finally told Bree the full story of how his sister died. After he told her, he fell asleep on her shoulder. " He's just mixed up, not terrible or anything." She thinks to herself on page 87.

Leo and Bree are just talking to each other now. Leo asked Bree who she would give her money to if he died, and she said a charity. Bree is telling Leo that he should stop being so judgmental, because he thinks that people who are given food don't work hard. "Sometimes people need help, for gods sake!" Bree says on page 83.

Bree is still in Leo's basement, and is still tied up. He gave her food and root beer, and he untied her hands. He is acting a lot nicer to her.

Leo took Bree to his basement, and they're asking each other questions. They are now talking about Bree's daughter, who died when she fell off a wall at the beach. Her name was summer. Bree also says her real name is Breezy, but people call her Bree.
