one of my favorite books now!! couldn’t put it down

Part of what i love so much about kingsolver is that she forces me to slow down. I’m sacred to miss a single word.

This book is really very good. The writing is extraordinary. The storyline is great but there’s something about it that makes me not want to recommend it to anybody. It’s a hard story to absorb. Lots of abuse, neglect, trauma and survival as well as resilience! Definitely not a sum read more like if you’re gonna read it shoot for the dead of winter!
