Even with the excellent ratings, I didn't expect that this book was going to be super good. However, I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it is so far. Superheroes, gay smut, pretty much some of my favorite things so I was like "Way to target my special subgenre!". Except it's also a comedy and the absurdity doesn't work for it. It's also smart scene to smut scene with no story. It's not even enemies to lovers.
