Gosh I made it to chapter 28 and I'm waiting for the book to catch my attention like it did when I first started reading it but it hasn't happened yet. I'm almost done and want to finish it but ....it may be filed in the DNF stack.

what kind of SF story doesn't describe the setting to me? I can't picture this world, this planet, this civilization, this people. major fail on that front. story jumped too fast into a romantic relationship.
