Should I be finishing the book that's been on my currently reading for the past month? Sure.

this makes me feel like i haven’t touched a truly well written book in years. genuinely nothing else can compete.

I like them! This story is so sweet, funny, that scene with Clem and CeiCei had me squealing! They did damage in a that hr and 20 mins that read like they were wreaking havoc for hours lol!

Idk if I’m frustrated with Clem thinking Sylvie is a problem OR if Sylvie really is a problem and Ox is about to piss me off 😩

The whole scene when oaxaca finds out clem woke up 🥹🥹🥹 so raw but so sweet

The fact that he still thinks that he has to take charge of everything even in this situation, my heart aches for him. Eldest children have it hard, even when they are adults, even when they’re not living with family anymore.

Waaaaait wait- what ? Did ron actually wanted to k word her with the tea and he was the one who ended up dead from that same tea ?

That whole phone call scene was just so cute ? Dang, I love them

Calling her a PIA and then fleeing to mexico to avoid her ? I can get Ox’s inner turmoil, because in reality he’s more mad at himself than anyone because he feels like he failed Clem, but that is so low and disappointing of him.

It’s so sad that sweet Clem is trying to find a way go appease ox when he is the one who messed up. That is the moment for her to be mad and tell him to never speak to her like that again, and finally accept partnership

For someone who always control everything I can quite get Ox’s pov. It’s his way of feeling useful, eldests in families function like this a log. but he really did not have to say she was a pain in his a** ..

I loved that chapter from the start, seing ox having fun with his siblings, and then he started to tease clementine, and she teased back, and now he calls her baby? I am not found of that nickname but right here I just giggles and kicked my feet, that was smoothly sweet

Why am I giddy that he came home early for her!!!

My heart keeps breaking for Clem 😭

The thing I really appreciate in this book is that the characters feel human. Both the mmc the fmc are full individuals who display varied emotions/reactions.
