I loved it. Ilisidi’s politicking is impressive and doing so without undermining Tabini-aiji. It really makes you think what sort of aiji she would have made. And Bren well, he’s even impressed Machigi (who by the way is described HOT). But Im very interested to see how the Marid takes this, having a single aiji. It’ll be war, that much is certain. Or maybe not. Guess we’ll see

Geigi’s heart to heart with Cajeiri was so sweet. They both yearn for the ship life, its endearing. And Geigi is understanding where so many are dismissive of his human associates. It gives me hope for the boy.

Geigi’s back, Im happy. Though everything on the western coast is really becoming a nightmare, Machigi will be a problem and it wouldnt surprise me if there’s another civil war. Considering these are the same people who supported Murini
