A children’s story about an old dude perving over his middle-aged neighbour and gaslighting her into thinking he can make her beloved pet grow when in fact he has stolen her pride and joy and replaced it with a slightly bigger one. How cute!

Good

The book is about a lonely man who is trying to see if the woman who he has secretly loved for many years takes notice of him and falls in love with him as much as he loves her which I think it is really romantic

Good but the book is a little bit weird, I love roald Dahl but I have just to the conclusion that this book is not one of my favourites. I love his collection of books that he’s written in his lifetime but I was willing to give it a go to see if I like it or not.
