Just the introduction so far, but I could have used a book like this in my fourth year university seminar course on medieval history. My chosen research topic was on mysticism, and while I did focus mainly on women, I never thought of it as a female-dominated topic. The perspective in this study would have been compelling for me to know about.

This is taking me forever because I keep getting lost down rabbit holes of other research and reading related to this book 🤩🤩🤩
