The writing is still very disjointed, the storyline jumps annoyingly. There are a couple chapters that are well written and would make interesting, stand alone stories or have been a better choice to have pursued.

I purchased this book in 2009 because I fell in love with everything Jeffrey Lent had written up until then. I just couldn't finish, but I'm determined to do so this time. The writing is disjointed and the story jumps, but I'll reserve my final opinion until the very end.
