I started reading the popular book on thermodynamics, “Einstein’s fridge”, to discover I did not understand the second chapter on Saudi Carnot to a degree which I found palatable. I therefore decided to pick up this book which begins with a preface of historian which I quite enjoy.
It is enjoyable to read the writings of the founders of this or that in their own words. Alas.
