Blanche ends up being admitted to a mental institution thanks to Stanley’s bitch ass. He doesn’t believe she’s been receiving telegrams from a billionaire in Miami.
I don’t believe it either because all we have is her word for it. Her life had previously been going wrong. She’s lost everything and relations. (sister too)

Stanley immediately dislikes Blanche and the feeling is mutual.
Stella is in love with Stanley she loves everything about his masculinity. He doesn’t give her an allowance. He beat her while drunk and she’s pregnant. He begs for forgiveness after she locks herself away(Depicted on the cover). She forgives him and Blanche is against that (rightfully so)

Beginning: Blanche arrives to Stella and Stanley Kowalskis small apartment in NOLA. She has a superior attitude when she hides her true past: their home is lost to mortgage, she’s a slut, got fired for messing with a 17yr old, poor. She also starts a romantic connection with Mitch, Stanley’s friend. I loved it because he was quiet, respectful, takes care of his sick momma what else.
