Interview With The Vampire: 4 ⭐️

i think that this was such a solid start to a series. the format being an interview is so much fun and such an interesting way to view a story. you know from the get go that no matter what the story is unreliable as it is a retelling from a very dramatic narrator. Louis's struggle with aesthetic vs moral reasoning behind choices is sooo good. Anne Rice's writing is just poetry.

i have been in such a reading slump recently but my coworker lent me her copy of this since i lost my copy of the first book. it has been slowly helping!!
