Started this tome with an ‘inspectional reading’ per M Adler: 55 chapters in 4 titled parts, with 3 imbedded short stories and several poems, all written by the characters. Have noted themes and main characters introduced in chapter 1. Helps me appreciate author’s structure and intentions. “Reading a book should be a conversation between you and the author”, says Adler. Looking forward to an absorbing chat.
