“When we are at our wits’ end for an answer, then the Holy Spirit can
give us an answer. But how can He give us an answer when we are
still well supplied with all sorts of answers of our own?”

Great book, this quote spoke to me
“Why do we sometimes feel that we need to debate endlessly, running
through every possible hypothetical situation and answering every
theological question first? When will we simply respond to the truth we
have heard and then work through our questions from there?”
I tried to learn about God through my own reasoning, instead of having a relationship with him first.

I remember going to House of His Presence and being shocked by how the Holy Spirit was moving those in front of me. My first reaction was to make fun of these people and my deep regret is that I mocked them because I had never been moved like that by the Holy Spirit. Chan points to a goal of Christianity being a relationship with the Holy Spirit rather than following it like a religion, and I now completely agree.

My attitude towards non denominationalism changed about 3 months ago. I’m very excited to learn more and to maybe start going to church at a non denominational service. My heart has been changed! Now I know what’s really important.
