Yes, the pages are long. Too much going on, and nothing going on, all at the same time. Not sure what this book is. Not really a love story, not really a story about overcoming adversity. (New money never has arranged marriages on a whim. That part was just stupid) But I will finish it. ..... Gonna power down and get 'er done so I can move on to a new book.
