Status Updates From The Legend Of Fire Horse Woman

Bardzo przyzwoita powieść.

Because it took me so long, it makes me realize I wasn't enjoying this book. Usually I put everything aside if the book is good. Long descriptions. Long set up in the first two chapters. Hard to imagine the characters. This could be a shorter book and still cover the stories.

Just discovered the glossary in the back -- helpful. I find the settings and time periods to be of interest. I also like the back and forth between different periods of the Fire Horse Woman's life. I am less enthusiastic about the writing.

I was on top of the character list, until the ancestors came on board. At that point, I had to go back to square one and make up a cheat sheet of characters.

Difficult to stick with. I'll finish it but it's work.

The mind lies using words. The heart has no words with which to lie. It conveys only truth. ((:
