The time went by quickly because it is all stuff I'm interested in and enjoy myself. The main character went through basic training and got shipped off to ''Nam'' and set up camp.

''Head for the stage,'' he commanded. ''You guys are the show. Get up there and entertain.''

Something in the book that I wasn't expecting was that Lynda, Dean's Vietnamese bar friend, was using Dean to buy her stuff from America.
