I mean, I'm super enthralled. First third of the book is about this star trader story, a fantasy even, but I'm hooked by the plot and the setting (the characters are all right, could have been picked off Liar's Poker or maybe Bonfire of the Vanities). And then the midpoint comes in and suddenly I'm reading uhh financial science fiction?? My enjoyment is through the roof.

Disappointed to find that it's fiction, but will look for some insights anyway.
