I’m not enjoying this so far. The world building is interesting but the characters fall flat. They say clever things, but I’m just not emotionally invested. Might be too much “tell” instead of “show” and it’s causing a barrier between me and the story.

New friendships are forged. The enemy is confronted. Amazing feats are performed to get the group through the lava-filled volcano.
