Third chapter was over Hematopoietic function which is how blood is made and used in the human body. It is amazing to see the delicate balance maintained in this life giving substance. It gives me new perspective for how payment for sin requires bloody sacrifice. It makes sense, what better representation of physical life than the very essence that sustains it. And much greater than any other is the blood of Jesus.

Chapter 2 covered “immunity”. Learning how Intricately crafted the Lord has made the human body is awe inspiring. The heavens truly do declare the glory of God, including all of his creation.

Ch. 1 Was a review of cellular functions. A lot of it was basic biology/chemistry most schools teach in high school/undergrad. What I found unique was the specific applications to clinical practice. I found the connections to real diseases and medications helpful.
