Okay I did notice some genuinely amazing foreshadowing—

When Jack speaks to Pandora Reim thinks about how his presence is like water and cascades over his audience, and when Jack first meets Glen later on Glen thinks about how Jacks presence is like water because he’s hard to grasp and easily changes his personality

Xerxes Break gives me hisoka vibes which I don’t think is a compliment

Kind of suspicious of Vincent since the first time he appeared? Anime men who smile like that are always evil

I love Break so much like you have no idea

While the illustrations might not have been as strong and some of the story beats murky, this series is still ramping up to be a good time and has delicious tension. Will Vincent become “good” once the real Sablier tragedy is revealed?
