This book is about a ranger and a apprentice.
they are currently chasing after bandits that are ruthless. They steal simple farmers cows and kill the farmers and burn down there houses. They almost capture them but then they get away. killing one of the farmers and burning the other one.

these raider are pillaging farmers and they are trying to stop them

I will be asking Will, the main character of this book, three questions about his life. First, how did you feel when you realized that Halt, your mentor, had been poisoned? Second, how did you come up with your brilliant plan for saving Halt? Finally, how did you feel when you fought with the outsiders, a group that had already almost killed your mentor and had killed many others?

Visualize. While reading this book I was visualizing many things. One thing that I visualized was that the main character was throwing loud smoky grenades-like objects that made an ear-piercing noise and at the end was able to bring down a cave where a bunch of outlaws spreading fake religion were hiding. This allowed them to kill the main guy and distinguish the religion for good.

So far I think that the genre of the book is fantasy fiction. I know this because the book is fantasy meaning it wasn't every real and is make believe.

Halt gets shot by a poisoned bolt from a crossbow and Will searched for Malcolm to heal the wound. The poison that they used had two possible remedies but if they got the wrong one Halt would die. They kidnap A genosivian and get him to tell them the correct remedy.

Will went ahead and talked to O'Malley before and he wouldn't say anything to him. Halt goes and talks to him and he tells him that they went to a smugglers port. Halt, Will, and Horace go and follow Tennyson to get vengeance for killing Halts brother.
