I'm about to start chapter 36. I'm gonna try to finish it today. I probably won't tho.

I love Halt and Will's father-son relationship. Listen to this:
"Then he felt a fierce certainty flooding through him again. Will would be there because Halt needed him to be there. Will would be there because he was Will—and he had never let Halt down." - Narration
I just love that!

I'm not super far yet but this funny:
"I've always wanted one of these," Horace said, grinning at the cloak. He pulled the deep cowl up over his head, hiding his face in its shadows, and gathered the gray-brown folds around him.
"Can you still see me?" - Horace Altman (pg. 87)

Context: Halt gave Horace his spare camouflage cloak and Horace is trying it out.

If you haven’t shot a long bow, I highly recommend it!

The cooking scene is very descriptive, annoyingly so, (Then again Flanagan explains everything a little too much) but he does make rabbit stew sound delicious!
Only problem is, I happen to know I don’t like rabbit gravy 🤣

I have laughed a dozen times over the last few chapters, ah how I love to hear Halt, Will and Horace’s interactions with each other 😆

And Halt has grown even more grumpy and less caring in his old age and it makes me EXTREMELY happy 😂🤣
