This book is like all the other books. It is about three friends trying to stop a religious cult.

'But, it's going to be dangerous...' Will started. The healers lip curled. 'Oh deary, deary me,' he said, in a high-pitched tone, exaggerated voice. 'Im do frightened. Perhaps I should throw my apron over my head and burst into tears!' Bwahahaha!!! 40 or so more pages left! Wo ho!

Belly to the ground, using elbows, ankles and knees to propel himself forward and never rising higher than a completely prone position. Will remembers halt saying to him... Is that a bony backside I see sticking up out of the grass by that black rock? I think it is. Perhaps I should put an arrow in it if it's owner doesn't GET IT DOWN! Bwahahaha!

No Halt! Hope He'll live, of course he will, nothing can defeat him!

Bwahaha! Horace is the best!! Horace is trying to stay hidden when halt gives Horace his spare cloak, 'Horace swung the cloak around him delightedly. "I've always wanted one of these," he said, grinning at the cloak. He pulled the deep cowl up over his head, hiding his face in its shadows, gathering the grey-brown folds around him. "Can you still see me?" ' Gotta love his sense of humour

'If I wouldn't tell the boy (will), what makes you think I'll tell his grandfather (halt)?' He said. Oh no you did not just say that!

Start of a new adventure! Can't Wait to read more!!

I like this book and I am reading this for the second time

Wow, I've breezed through so many pages and now I realized that not much really happened. It's like the bottle episode of a sitcom or something.

I swear, if Halt dies I will be SO mad....:'/

So I'm only on Chapter 6, and in the midst of getting a snack (potato chips) I made the mistake of reading the back of the cover, where it has a couple paragraphs from the book. Great. I feel like crying right now. :( HALTTTT!!!

There are on a hot pursuit on Terroyn and the outsiders who are trying to escape to Araulen after failing to do anything damage in Hibernia. Halt, Will and Horace are trying to stop them from going to Araulen. This book will get better as I continue to read this book.

Another wonderful entry in the series featuring Will, Halt, and Horace. I thoroughly enjoyed the first third of the book, a page-turner yet again.

The plot kicked in in the very middle of the book. Kind of sad knowing what John Flanagan can do with a plot in the other 8 books.

In Halt's peril, there are three protagonists, and they are Halt,Will,and Horace. The main antagonist is a man named Tennyson, who leads a fake cult to scam people into giving him their riches, and then he orders the other antagonists, Bacari and his protege,to kill them. They make the book have action and sequence.

Mr. Flanagan, teach me how to write characters like you do.
