Still haven't gotten past the blurb on the book, so it's a little bit annoying. I think I'll get to the meat of the story soon though. I can feel it.

Halts Peril is a story with points of view from all active characters, switching from character to character as they play their roles in the story. Although ever changing the characters found in almost all of the books is Will Treaty, a ranger and peasant by birth, but an extraordinary individual, full of humor and drama, Horace, also full of warmth and humor, and Halt, a funny and playfully arrogant mentor to Will.

In Halt Peril, the main characters face anew challenge as the seemingly invincible Halt receives a lethal and poisoned wound from a cross bolt. As Will struggles to cure him, he must face the realization that Halt might die. In the race against time, Will and Horace hurriedly confront the assassins that hurt Halt and see to their ultimate goal at the same time... Capturing Tennyson and his fake cult brigade.

Very suspenseful. I could not stop reading.

Halt has amnesia. He has amnesia because halt got shot with a crossbow bolt which had poison on it."you understand that the bolt was poison don't you"(p.186). Halt has been poisoned.

The assassin informed Tennyson that Halt,Will, and Horace are tracking him and are plotting to kill him. The assassin (genovesan) told Tennyson because Tennyson is paying him(assassin) lots and lots of gold for being an informant And a protector.

Argh haven't had time to read.

I would like to eat the main character will. I really like the work that rangers do in the book and their skills are what I am pretty good at, hiding, archery, horse back riding, and getting themselves into danger on purpose. I have a,ways enjo D archery and am pretty good at is, this is the main quality in Rangers. They also have throwing knifes, when I went to the renasaince fair I threw knifes and hit the targets.

The conflict of the book are the two Genovesans assassins who still remain, their missions is to kill Will, his friend Horace, and Halt his mentor. The rising action of the book would be when Will and Halt enter a forest where they know the assassins are waiting for them. The climax would be when Halt is shot by a poisonous crossbow bolt. The falling action is when Halt is nearly dead and Will is not their.

These books just get better. Love the character development

Can't wait to move on to the next book in the series!!

it was a good book but it made me lose intrest in the end

The book is wonderful so far but I'm afraid because halt is gonna get shot with a poisonous arrow!!!

this series of books builds up excitement as you get farther in the book so it's hard to rate it. Also, nothing has really happened yet.

So far this series has been amazing. In my book they are trying to escape from elite assassins and for the first time Halt gets hit by a poison arrow. Now it is a race against time to get to the only person the can heal him malakaram. This a adventurous against time book. It so cool because right now they're starting their journey and they have already overcame som many problems. I wonder if they will make it in time

This is a very good and thoughtful book and it is a pleasure reading it

In this book Will, Horace, and Halt are trying to track down the dangerous outsider cult that just fled from Clonmel. Halt gets shot with a poison arrow and Will goes to a healer. With the strength back in Halt, they set out again and trap the cult in a cave where they use superstition against the outsiders and destroy the cult."Good shooting Will." This is vital, otherwise the plan would have not worked.
