Interesting lectures series, great review of Tolkien but hasn't really broken out of Tolkien yet (which is fine because it's gearing me up for my return of the king reading so I'm not mad lol)

A lecture series that is verrrrry heavy on Tolkien but Professor Drout does a solid job justifying this approach. I really liked Dr. Drout's science fiction lectures, so while I find the content a bit unexpected and disappointingly, lacks coverage of other genre authors, it is still an engaging and informative course.

Currently listening to this audiobook. A very concise and unique way to engage with the scholarship on fantasy.
