Good so far although as this book was published 20 years ago there are a few areas out of date with technological advances and the fact the hadron collider is operational

Chapter 7 got the better of me, string theory and m-theory went over my head.

So good so far omg. My fav science book I’ve read recently

got through a pretty big chunk and now i've added 3 more of this author's books to my list. he's really good

was a little concerned at first because the first section goes over a lot of the stuff i've read in other books about theoretical physics like the elegant universe, but now we're getting into the multiverse theory :)

TIME FOR MORE SPACE STUFF

In excitement of counting, God missed calling for mass 5 and so no heavier elements could be formed. He was disappointed & first wanted to contract universe again but it would be too simple. He decided to correct his mistake in the most impossible way. And God said, "Let there be Hoyle." And there was Hoyle. And God told him to make heavier elements any way he pleased which he decided to make in stars.

This book is so complicated, I really wish I had some cliff notes to go with it! It’s time for me to return it to the library already, and I didn’t get very far. But I plan to request it again. I really want to understand!

خب با این تصور که دانش خیلی زیادی در خصوص فیزیک و نظریه های مختلف نیاز نداره شروع به خوندن کردم و هرقدر پیش رفتم دیدم یه چیزایی رو فقط کسایی میفهمن که فیزیک خوندن یا باهاش، آشنایی دارن. با اینحال بازم ادامه دادم و قراره همشو کامل بخونم. برای اون قسمتایی که متوجه نمیشم سرچ بهترین گزینه خواهد بود. و خیلی خوشحالم که خوندنش همزمان شد با مجموعه راهنمای کهکشان برای اتواستاپ زنها. بریم ببینیم چی میشه
