Status Updates From Mexikid: A Graphic Memoir

Great book so far. I think the graphic novel would have been a bit easier to follow, but the audiobook really sets the stage and makes the characters come to life. I think reading the graphic novel and the audiobook together would have been the best experience for this book.

I came across this book while purchasing for the library's collection. I wasn't sure how a graphic novel would do as an audiobook. Boy, the audiobook team spared no expense producing this book. It is a full on audio-drama with 7 different voice actors and backtracks, and it has great comedic timing. My only complaint is there are 8 siblings. It's hard to tell which sibling is speaking.
