Status Updates From Steel and Stone: The Curse ...

Aurora’s POV feels like when you’re dreaming, and nothing makes sense. I don’t know if it’s supposed to feel this way, but I’m struggling SO HARD to understand anything. I’m really really trying. I’m an educated woman but right now I feel dumb.

Okay. If you are familiar with medieval terms or are into that kind of language you’ll like this. I’m struggling. This reads very much like a classic fairytale, and has all of the characteristics of one.

This book reads as if it’s from another time. Beautiful writing so far!

So far we have: sleeping beauty, Hades and Persephone, and now Beauty and the Beast. Anything else and the story will be so knotted with confusion, there will be no unraveling it.

I was hoping for just a Hades/Greek lore retelling, but this is reading like a high fantasy. From the prose, to the character interactions, and this is not what I signed up for. Let's see how much longer I can withstand.

Philip is already grating on my nerves

I've been struggling for pretty much the entire book to understand the plot line. I'm still so lost.
