Status Updates From Inner Circle (Private, #5)

Noelle returned for 2 pages and stole the show. Truly one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. This book was 3 stars until 60% onwards where it got truly entertaining so 4 stars it is.

“The flame of her candle flickered. Between the dancing shadows I could have sworn I saw a mischievous glint in [Sabine’s] eye. My heart skipped a beat, but I told myself I was seeing things. I had to be seeing things.” Very similar to how Ariana acted during Reed’s initiation. Reed should really trust her instincts more.

The drama in this book once Reed catches Cheyenne and Josh in the art cemetery is amazing. Even after many years, I’ve not forgotten it. Private would’ve translated so well to television.

Kind of a snooze fest but Cheyenne makes a good antagonist. Sabine is weirding me out I don’t trust her. The Cheyenne x Josh thing is bothersome similarly to the Reed x Dash thing.
