Not what I was expecting at all. I figured it'd be an urban fantasy written in the vintage fantasy style but it's neither of those. It's very gritty and dark and turns into a murder mystery that REALLY fuckin drew me in...I'm usually not big on locked room mysteries but having it in a very fantastical setting adds a richness to it.
