I LOST it at the line "[Yona] could see the cartilage in his neck bobbing," which, although that phrasing gave me the biggest literary ick of my life, I assume was to be read in a seductive tone because it was followed by describing how she wanted to "place her fingers there, to feel his pulse and the rhythm of his breath" 🤮 (after NO deep development of their relationship btw)

I actually started this book a few months back and didn't add it to Goodreads. Probably bc it's not a good read. I now must add my reactions to the final pages I read before deciding to throw the book out due to cringe and HORRIBLE plot/romantic development 💀
