Status Updates From Biogenesis

Extremely invested in the first story, wanted to know every little detail. And then ultimately nothing came of it, ended innocuously.

This is a difficult book to classify, but it falls somewhere between science fiction and fabulism - that is, it does take place in the real world but the content is a bit out there. Maybe it's because I'm in STEM, but I'm interested in the way the first half is written in the form of a report. It's neither plot nor particularly character focused, but there are some gems in the way of characterisation here
