Done! There was a little bit too much wishy-washy mumbo-jumbo about paradoxes and alternate worlds, but other than that, this was a good read. I read the author’s foreword, too and he definitely set out to do what he meant to do, which is write a story about being human and dealing with consequences.

Okay so this is a revised version which I didn’t make much note of, but I just got through reading a pretty great passage in which the MC lists all the things seen in his time travels. (Heh, “Cleopatra was ugly.”) And one of them happened long after this was published (1973). Also, the book takes place in 2005, but I just thought that was because it’s sci-fi. But now I’m thinking the original was earlier.

I need to wipe that silly book from my memory. It’s fun, but there’s a lengthy info dump early on. There’s also some overthinking on Dan’s part about his clothes time traveling. Just go with it, dude. I’m VERY concerned about him and his other self from the future. Those two seem to be getting close. Lol please don’t subject me to a masturbatory sex scene!!
