I love how deeply this book makes me feel what the fmc is feeling. The way she’s going through this breakup and slowly starts seeing him for who he really is?
On the surface, he “paid for everything” —but the book really shows how he created a power dynamic. How it kept her feeling indebted. Almost trapped.
It’s so witty and insightful- I’ll read a few pages and just sit there thinking about it.
