Hahaha, Wexler is begging to not return this book for a bit more than 150 more pages! He seems to be more of an entertainer than an academic. Maybe that is why I found this in the public library.

This new chapter is about the religious display ruckus. Most years I visit the Tree of Knowledge by the West Chester courthouse around Christmastime. Then, my family has an obnoxious inflatable Santa Claus on a polar bear balloon that goes up maybe November and lasts until a few days after the holiday. It's "cute", by which I mean tacky and low class. Dad loves it, though, so it stays. Every year.

Ee, this is scary! From 2009, recent history. Should I restate my personal secular creed soon? Politically that's a bad idea. Is the world split orthodox/progressive?
