The book so far has been an interesting read. The modern day take on POTO is kind of jarring, and the characters as well as the plot do disconnect from the tie to POTO. It feels like different story, not a retelling. But I do enjoy the Phantom’s love for her and watching their relationship unfold. The sex scenes are written strange and the Phantom has a strong breeding kink which can really yank me out of the story
