"Entropy Tango" has both Hawkwind AND Motörhead make cameo appearances, for extra lols the latter is referred to as a "pop group". The novel itself is full of the exact strands weird stuff that I hear about from friends as a result of the social circles I'm currently in, I think being on the same wavelength as Moorcock determines whether you'll "get" Jerry Cornelius really.

main character listen to Hawkwind in one short story and in several to the related band Deep Fix, there's a lot of stuff Hawkfans will recognize from lyrics and surrounding biography not just the place of Ladbroke Grove

then again Moorcock wrote several lyrics for them

feels much more normal than "The Final Programme", here Moorcock seems to have settled into a comfortable groove of playing around with the Eternal Champion mythology just in the context of Ian Fleming/John Le Carré style spy thrillers working in as many conspiracy theories, New Age mysticism and borderline science as was popular in alternative circles in 70s/80s Britain - driven more by atmosphere than plot though
