This book is amazing, and I'm blown away by how many obvious analogies I am drawing to the subject of engineering project management (which I am reading about in Shape Up).
For example, in Chapter 1: Organic Order, he talks in detail about the necessary balancing act between the need for a "master plan", but also the danger of such a plan striving for "totality" which could never exhibit an "organic" character.

Love the chapter on piecemeal growth. Really makes me feel better about the very slow progress I make on my house hahaha
