So far, a really well-written book. Makes me enthusiastic to learn more about evolutionary biology! Clearly explains the basics concepts at a high level (DNA, cistrons, mei-/mitosis) and uses them as foundations to explain later concepts. Also introduces the game theoretic analysis of evolutionary stability and also introduced a paradoxical stable strategy which helped develop an understanding of the concept.

The first chapter clearly lays out what Dawkins intends to argue. He makes strong claims so I'm interested in how he reasons towards them.
The second chapter presented a well-written and easy to read summary of our understanding of how life began on earth.
