Status Updates From Surf Mules

I'm really trying to finish this so I can read a Reacher book next

I read this one year ago too. Imagine a middle schooler reading about high school drug mules and murder. This is a YA novel. The contents are pretty mature, but the way it's written wouldn't make you think so.

Logan has grown and is on his way to collage. He is still a surfer and has gone to tournaments and is almost always the best.he still misses Finn and wishes he was still here but otherwise he is great.

So far in the book, Logan is on his way to Texas to go surfing there and see what it is like there, they got over the death of the killed surfer and use that as motivation to be able to keep on going.

On page 84 they say the word fluorescent and I did not know what the word meant. I looked up the word and it means to be bright and all around.

Logan gets in the water and starts to ride the waves. He falls and starts to freak out. He does get help but it makes him even more scared of the water.

Logan is getting back home when he discovers that there is someone in the house. He gets in to the house to find out that it smells like pot and the person is in his mothers room. He goes upstairs and gets a bat to see who is down stairs. He gets to hid moms room with the metal bat to realize it was his father that had returned, but to steal stuff

After months of being scared of the water, z boy gets back to the waves doing better that ever, but also being extremely cautious. He practices going down under water and pushing up as hard as he can, just in case if he falls off the board and gets pushed down under the water. He is now the best youth surfer in the state and feeling really good.

Summary- z boy is looking at YouTube videos that people took with him and fin surfing in the beach

Summary- z-boy keeps thinking about what he could have done to try to save fin, z-boy is at the beach dazing in to the stars trying to clear his mind of what had happened.

So far, z boy and fin were friends but then got in to a fight to make them not friends anymore. Fin was a good surfer, just a little better than z boy. There was a massive surf coming to the shore. The biggest the city has ever seen. Both fin and z boy took the wave and fell. Z bot got put a love, but fin died.

Aw, man, I AM a wannabe. :(

I suck.

I bought this last year when I was a MAJOR surfer-wannabe (I live in Oklahoma, which is completely land-locked. How pathetic can you GET?) but I never finished it.
I'm calling this a re-start.

Now the book has gotten a lot more interesting and suspenseful. i really like this book now

I like the book more than I thought I would

The book kind of reminds me of the outsiders.

I like it so far but it's a little dry
