Status Updates From Poverty, by America

next book club book! this is written by the same author, Matthew Desmond, who wrote one of my favorite books, Evicted. In Evicted, he follows numerous families living in poverty and facing eviction and landlords evicting tenants. I have recommended this book to many people and they’ve all rated it 5 stars, too. It is well worth the read and I hope this book is just as good! Not sure if this is a gonzo journalism
