Chapter 4- Is the New Testament Reliable?
I told my dad this book is better written than others (Lee Strobel) he's given me. Not this chapter though. "Tests:"
1-Bibliographic. Do not understand the "Number of Biblical Manuscripts" chart. And to compare those to other classical works like The Iliad?
2-Internal Evidence. TWO PAGES?

It is important to calibrate our expectations to other writings of the time.“

“Consider the example of holocaust survivors. Such individuals would undoubtably be biased. But this does not in itself, provide good reason to discount their testimony. We must be open-minded to the possibility that Christian sources are historically reliable testimonies to the historicity of Jesus and consider them as part of a larger cumulative case.”
