Idea great, execution not so much so far. What was the editor doing? The FMC reads like a script idea but not developed enough (in the context of writing craft).

I really liked the beginning, but I’m having trouble caring about TMC because her main character trait is rage. Her anger and cynicism are understandable, but the fact that she doesn’t trust the friendship of someone who has gone out of his way to be friends for her for three years is frustrating.
