Currently on page 6, just wanted to get a taste for the book while finishing my first book of the year. I can say the book gets straight to it, which I love. I also enjoy Philyaw’s writing style! So far so good.

Good book

Completely enjoyed this. It was drama. It was black nostalgia. It felt like a true peek into the lives of church women. It’s exactly why it says on the label only funnier, more stunning and good fun. Please try this in audiobook. I don’t care what the naysayers tell you. These short stories will leave you with happy tears and a grin.
