Oh, thank God. Main character still alive.

I’m kind of pissed off. Killing off (presumably) a major character that the series seemed loosely centered around breaks the integrity of the series. Unless the author is going to pull off a neat trick later in the book, I’m just annoyed because this could have gone in other more interesting directions.
